UCWeb will NEVER collect the following personal and private information:

In order to offer you better service, UCWeb may collect information related to your user experience of UC Browser. For privacy policies and questions related to UC Browser, UC Cloud Acceleration, and or User Experience Improvement Program, please refer to the appropriate section below:
UC Browser
UC Browser will keep a record of the user’s phone make and model to maintain history, cache, and cookies. The user’s phone number is NOT stored, except when required by operators. Make and model data may be used for the purposes of debugging, maintenance, optimization of the service, The history, cache, and cookie information can be removed using Settings> Clear History in UC Browser. In addition, as authorized, we may also send users information regarding update downloading, upgrades, enhancements, surveys, or advertisements about our products.
UC Cloud Acceleration
When Cloud Acceleration is enabled, the service will compress data flow, thereby increasing download speed and reducing data volume. The service requests normal Web content through an UC proxy server. Cloud Acceleration will exclude Web pages located on an intranet or by using secure connections . UCWeb will collect addresses, usage patterns, and the point in time at which the service is used for the debugging, maintenance, optimization of the service, or maintaining the customer relationship. Analysis of service usage is conducted by aggregating data, anonymizing individual identities.
User Experience Improvement Program(UEIP)
When you participate, we collect basic information about how you use UC Browser, and your device configuration. These reports are UCWeb help improve features used most often, and to create solutions to common problems.
You can choose to participate in the User Experience Improvement Program when you first install a UC Browser. To change your participation later, click the setting menu and then click user experience plan.
UEIP reports generally include information about:
Device Configuration, such as os version of your handsets, screen resolutions for display devices, and CPU or GPU information.
Performance and reliability, such as how quickly the application respond when you click a button, how many problems you experience with the application, and how quickly information is sent or received over a network connection.
Program use, such as the features that you use the most of, how frequently you use the application.
UEIP reports do not collect your contact information, such as your name, address, or phone number. UEIP generates a Series Number (SN) that is stored on your device to be uniquely identified. The SN is a randomly generated number; it does not contain any personal information and is not used to identify you. UEIP uses the SN to distinguish how widespread the feedback we receive is and how to prioritize it. For example, the SN allows us to distinguish between one customer experiencing a problem one hundred times and other customers experiencing the same problem once. The SN is stored on your device and sent with every UEIP report.
UCWeb is committed to protect the information we collect. UEIP uses a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect reports from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we store the information you provide in your device with encryption.
