Beijing, Dec 4, 2012 --- UCWeb Inc., the leading mobile internet company, launched a new logo today for its flagship product, UC Browser. The new logo is represented on the latest versions, which can be downloaded for free from AppStore, Google Play, Nokia Ovi Store, and Windows Marketplace.
Designed in-house, the new logo retains the company's mascot animal - the squirrel, and also incorporated the UC Browser’s three key propositions, Speed, Smart, and Security. UCWeb redesigned the logo to give its UC Browser a more contemporary global appeal as the company accelerates its global market expansion.
UCWeb began its globalization in 2009 with the release of its first International language version in English, and has successfully built a significant user base outside of China. UC Browser has a high adoption rate with more than 10 percent market share in six countries, including over 50 percent share in China and over 20 percent share in India. With more than 300 million users worldwide, UC Browser is now the world’s largest mobile browser.
“This year, we have been full speed ahead with our global expansion,” said Yu Yongfu, CEO and Chairman of UCWeb. “With the opening of our first overseas office in India last year, and another office in the U.S. in September, it is important that all elements of the company and our products meet the needs of our global customers.”
